Pedigree (click here to view pedigree)

'Echo' is a gorgeous dog full of fun and popular with my other dogs. He has a loving nature, a wonderful temperament, strong bones and correct confirmation - all important aspects in a stud dog (the judges seem to agree too!) He qualified for the third time for Crufts in 2006.

He is available for stud to approved bitches. If you are a distance away, that is not a problem I am happy to help you find local B&B. If you want to chat about breeding your bitch to Echo, please telephone for a chat.

I have two lovely bitches. They are strong offsprings of generations of both male and female Dogmersfield lines.

Dogmersfield Penteazle (Teazle)

Born 15.4.04   Hip Score 3:3    Clear eye certificate

Teazle is a loving character, she took a 2nd prize at her very first show. Teazle attracted a lot of attention with her calm demeanor and good looks and in typical golden fashion just loved it all.

Gwythan Echo after the Storm of Dogmersfield (Sassy)

Sassy is the granddaughter of my very dear Storm who was put to sleep 12 years ago, and I still miss him very much. I am very proud to remember that Storm won a First Prize at Crufts for 5 consecutive years!

Sassy bred a litter of 10 beautiful puppies, 4 bitches and 6 dogs at the end of July '07. You can see some photos below.

Puppies

Sassy was mated to Gatchells Lone Ranger, a stunning dog with a very blue-blooded pedigree, she gave birth to a litter of 10 gorgeous puppies on 22.7.07 now all happily ensconced in their new homes.

I have kept one of  Sassy's puppies (Chance) for myself -  now 9 months old,  but have decided that I must let him go, so he will be for sale.  His quality is good enough for showing and he has a sweet temperament. If you are interested please do not hesitate to give me a call.  Click link to Chance's pedigree

Dogmersfield Choirmaster (Ali-Baba)

Now living in the New Forest with his sister Dogmersfield Summer Glory (Willow).

Both are very happy dogs with lovely temperaments. Ali was the only dog in the class to wag his tail right through his Good Citizen Gold Test!

Dogmersfield Beachcomber (Trad) sadly now passed away

A few important points to note if you are thinking of buying a dog

  • No puppy/dog comes pre-trained - it requires commitment and hard work, but it pays dividends - a happy dog and a happy owner
  • It is helpful to take your dog to training classes  Pet Dog Trainers Association
  • If you buy from a good breeder they should be happy to give you advice on feeding etc. or any problems you may have
  • socialise your puppy with others - 'Puppy classes' PDTA trainers all have these
  • enlist with a good Veterinary Surgery - vaccinations/medical care
